This virtual career fair aims to bring career opportunities to students interested in mining and a platform for mining companies to network with job seekers.
Kanata, ON— The Mining Industry Human Resources Council (MiHR), the Prospectors and Developers Association of Canada (PDAC), and the Canadian Institute of Mining, Metallurgy and Petroleum (CIM) are joining together once again to present the national Mining Needs You Virtual Career Fair on November 7 – 8, 2023. With the participation of over 30 companies last year, the event promises opportunities for job seekers to connect and apply for available positions within the mining industry. Interested candidates can register here.
This collaborative initiative welcomes industry professionals and job seekers for virtual networking and career advancement. A diverse array of mining companies will be offering jobs and extending engagement opportunities. Exhibitors can secure one of the limited 30-minute webinar time slots to share insights with attendees and explain the career paths in their organizations.
Post-secondary students, job seekers, and industry stakeholders are welcome to attend the event. With a shared vision to cultivate a skilled workforce within the mining industry, MiHR, PDAC, and CIM are poised to deliver a career fair that empowers attendees to work within the mining sector.
“We are happy to support the Mining Needs You Virtual Career Fair with event development, promotion, and technical assistance. I look forward to a successful event and wish the candidates all the best,” says vFairs CEO Muhammad Younas.
