The virtual job fair will offer experienced professionals approved to immigrate, or who have recently immigrated, to Canada an opportunity to network with employers, find mentorship, and apply to open roles in their fields.
North York, ON – JVS Toronto has announced they will host the Bridges to Career Success: Newcomer Mentorship and Networking Event on Friday June 23rd, 2023 from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. ET. The free event will take place online through the vFairs virtual event platform. Interested attendees can register for the event here.
Bridges to Career Success will assist internationally experienced professionals approved for immigration, who will be arriving in Canada in the next 12 months or are already in Canada, in kick starting their job search. Attendees will have the opportunity to meet and connect with leading employers and community agencies, network and interact with professionals from similar backgrounds, and apply directly for jobs of interest.
The event also offers a unique opportunity to join virtual mentoring tables hosted by Canadian professionals, where attendees can pull up a virtual seat and interact with representatives in a small group via video call.
“I can’t express enough how impressed we are with the vFairs event platform and their incredible team. They provide a user-friendly platform by being open to client feedback and actively incorporating it into their continuous improvements. Their dedication to customer satisfaction and their commitment to innovation make vFairs our go-to event platform,” says Sharvari Jois, Director, Online and Mentoring Services at JVS Toronto.
“We are so glad to provide technology that assists with a cause so important to vFairs,” says Muhammad Younas, CEO of vFairs. “As a team from diverse backgrounds, and some members who have immigrated from other countries, we deeply understand the value that JVS is providing to attendees through Bridges to Career Success, and are honoured to be a technology partner for this event.”
