The event will showcase the latest technological innovations for Applied Research in Action (ARIA) with a rich cross-section of industry professionals and researchers.
Toronto, ON – The University of Toronto’s Master of Science in Applied Computing (MScAC) program will host the Applied Research in Action (ARIA) showcase on November 17, 2022 at 4:00 PM (EST). This event brings together some of the world’s most innovative companies with talented MScAC, MSc, and PhD students to demonstrate and celebrate how advances in technology are reshaping industries all over the world. This event is free and open to all; those interested in attending ARIA can register here.
The University of Toronto is ranked first amongst Canadian universities and houses one of the world’s best applied computing graduate programs. The ARIA showcase will be the biggest academic-led event of its kind in Toronto. Graduate students along with their industry and academic supervisors will showcase what is the most innovative research being conducted in Toronto today.
ARIA has a record-breaking total of over 80 promising applied research projects from MScAC and PhD students. Students cover a diverse range of research interests and the showcase will be a great opportunity to explore the latest innovations in applied computing today.
Toronto is also known as the Silicon Valley of the North and is the 3rd largest tech hub in North America which makes it the perfect place for innovative applied research.
